Custom Skills for AI Agents

Your AI agents can now do more than talk. With Custom Skills, they can call external APIs, pull live data from your systems, and draw on your business knowledge — all configured from the dashboard without writing code.

Two types of skills

HTTP Skills — connect to any API

Point your agent at any external API. It decides when to call it based on the conversation. Check inventory, look up pricing, verify an order status, create a booking — anything your existing systems support via API.

  • Saved credentials — store API keys once and reuse them across multiple skills
  • AI-filled fields — describe what a field should contain and the agent fills in the right value during the conversation
  • Live data injection — pull in customer name, organisation details, and other context automatically
  • Response extraction — the agent reads the API response and uses the relevant information in its reply

Knowledge Skills — give your agent expertise

Upload documents — product guides, pricing sheets, FAQs, policy documents — and the agent draws on them during conversations. When a customer asks a question, relevant information is surfaced automatically.

  • Works across WhatsApp, voice, and web
  • Choose which channels each skill is active on

How to set it up

  1. Create a skill in Settings → Skills
  2. Configure the API endpoint or upload documents
  3. Assign the skill to one or more agents
  4. The agent uses the skill automatically during conversations

Skills are reusable across agents and can be toggled on or off individually.
